Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a bequest to the Gallery is an incredible gift. Such a gift ensures the Gallery can develop and professionally maintain the collection, present dynamic exhibitions and deliver experiences for future generations to enjoy and learn from.

If you are considering leaving a bequest, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your plans before you commit them to a Will to ensure we can meet your wishes.

Contact the Gallery Director, Susi Muddiman OAM via email or call 02 6670 2790.

Donate works of art

The Gallery has established a significant collection of over 1,000 artworks for the community to access and experience, the majority of which are gifts and donations. The Gallery is endorsed to accept gifts through the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program. This program allows donors to donate artworks to public art galleries to receive a tax benefit which may be apportioned over a five-year period.

The Cultural Gifts Program requires that the artwork must be of relevance to the institution, align with the Gallery’s collection policy, and must be valued by two approved valuers at proven market prices.

Contact Gallery Director Susi Muddiman OAM via email, call 02 6670 2790 or visit the Australian Governments website for further information on the Cultural Gifts Program.
